The app is super easy to use, I think its easier to set up the schedule on the app than it is on the tstat but you can manage if you have the patience to do it, on the tstat. So far it has worked perfectly.
T6 is a nice thermostat it’s a must to connect to 2.4 GHz to your router also the c wire which is the common has to be taken from the cooling side with a dual fuel you should be able to take it from the heating side but you can’t I was told
It took an online chat with a Honeywell technician

The thermostat performed as advertised. The menus and settings are clear and simple. One thing not discussed in the menu is requirement for the WiFi. Took a chat with a Honeywell technician online to find out and resolved the problem.
This thermostat works only with 2.4 GHz WiFi signal. The router normally puts out a 2.4 to 5 GHz signal but would vary under certain condition. Every time it does that, the thermostat could not access the internet - internet is required to access the local temperature used for the heat pump/aux. heat changeover. Every time, that happens during changeover weather, either the heat pump or the auxiliary heat would not function. Service calls went out; thermostat was replaced a couple of times; settings reset etc. to no avail. Finally, the Honeywell technical advised to get the service provider to change the router setting to put out separate 2.4 and 5 GHz WiFi signals. The thermostat was then set to the 2.4 GHz signal while other devices were set to the 5 GHz signal. Everything works after that.
A note about the WiFi requirement in the thermostat manual can save a lot of fruitless house calls and frustration/swearing for us the average non-technical-trying-to-live-with-smart-appliances house owners.
