Have been using it for about 2 weeks now and have found it very easy to use. The times I have lowered the temp while out the temp was back up to proper temp when arrived home. I can envision saving money on heat and AC.

its finicky at best. Connection to Wi-Fi is an issue, geo fence is not great. And this is my second one after the first one stoped displaying any info.

The ability to use the phone to adjust the AC temp is great. Sometime I am in bed or on the sofa and I don’t need to get up to adjust the temperature. Everything can be done remotely.

I have exclusively used Amazon smart plugs to upgrade my home to be smarter. I get confused with added variables such as hubs. This thermostat was my first venture away from smart plugs but the installation was straight forward and understandable. If I can do it anyone can.

My home is brand new and out of everything that could break, this thermostat has broken twice in two years! I don’t even run my hvac unit that much for it to suddenly die! I now can’t turn off the unit as it chose to stop working while I’m using the heat, even with trying to turn off the breaker. Piece of garbage. Stop selling this thermostat Honeywell, you’re better than this!
