Bought because it worked with Alexa but over a year ago it stopped working with Alexa and does not seem to be any plans to fix it

We love the wifi capability of this thermostat and that we can control the temperature through the app. The only problem we have with it is that it constantly resets itself which turns off our HVAC system. We have not received a utility bill so not sure if it is going to effect our bill with the system turning on and off multiple times throughout the day because of the thermostat going blank and resetting.
I would recommend this to a friend!
