This works well to control my a/c from my iPhone. I inherited this in a home I purchased. Once I called support to have them remove the old owner, I was able to register the thermostat.

The naming portion of your thermostat location is very difficult to set on the mobile device if setting up for more than one. I had to do an invite from the first device adding a member of my family in order for them to be able to help control the device temperature.
