Took me numerous attempts, over a six month period of time, to register the device so I could use my cell phone to remotely control the cooling/heating system. I tried and tried and then would just, in frustration, give up. The device then would scroll a message that I should register it. OMG. Finally I did something correctly and it registered. Since that time, the system and remote cell phone control is wonderful. I use it all the time. I recommend the manufacturer develop better instructions.

there was no notice to me on the other app or to the installer that you had changed the app to risideo. i didn't know until i called your tech support line. I liked the other app better

Cannot connect to Alexa. Having that functionality was very important to me. I only get redirected to a non-working link. I also do not like the fact that there is no "auto" function that keeps the house at a constant temperature like my old thermostat did - even though that function is shown in the user's manual. My only options though are emergency heat, heat and cool. I also think there would be value in being able to know what temp is set for a mode in the app BEFORE it gets turned on. The temp registered also does not match the actual air temp.
