The Honeywell system works with the app. But does b it have an auto setting I have to go back and forth between hers and cold

We like the T6 thermostat. We had it on Geofence but took it off. Now we can't get back to see the program. Otherwise it works and looks good.

Great thermostat. Only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is the fact that it was difficult to get connected to my WiFi. Took 4 or 5 tries for it to finally connect. Other than that it has worked flawlessly. Downloaded the Alexa skill for it and now use our Echo dot and voice commands. The phone app works great too. Used it to set our sleep/home schedules.

Amazingly difficult to connect to Wifi. I'm an IT professional and it took over an hour, mostly because instructions didn't match what the device does.
There's a critical flaw at the point where the thermostat has actually connected to your Wifi. The instructions say to continue on your phone, while the thermostat gets caught in a loop. Breaking the connection from my phone finally got it working, as the app doesn't seem to know that it shouldn't keep using the temporary network. Very poorly designed app, especially compared with the smooth and easy processes from Nest or Ecobee (both of which I have used).
Once complete, the thermostat even says to go to a website and put in a code so it can be set up from the web. Only Honeywell no longer supports web-control for these devices, so there's no way to do that.
As far as turning on/off, adjusting temp up and down, yeah it works. But Honeywell clearly has a left-hand right-hand disconnect and doesn't seem to know what it's own products do.
I'm putting an Ecobee in place in a couple weeks, and ebaying this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
