It works great, easy to use and it integrates with Alexa. I cannot comment on the scheduling as I do not use it but for me it works just great. No issues. Design is nice and simple to use.
The thermostat works well, looks good and the touch screen is easy to operate. The only real reason for the poor review is that the unit forces me to connect with Honeywell prior to showing me the programming functions. Initially I thought its going to be operated through my phone only and I reluctantly let Honeywell access my network, but once it was all set up, the functions appeared on the screen and the programming can be done easily from the touch screen now. Also, I turned off the wifi connection of the thermostat as it is not of much use to me, however, it appears to be of much use to Honeywell, as I now get a daily reminder on the unit to turn it on again. I would like to see which data about my network is stored at Honeywell and what information is being transmitted / obtained. I am concern about my privacy, by a Thermostat(!), as Honeywell is big into data collection and analysis these days. The above is actually the reason why I am considering to remove the thermostat from my wall and to replace it with something that does just what its for, controlling my boiler's on/off set-point. I am a disappointed and concerned customer who now has to check his network security settings as well. A purely local setup without connecting it to the internet would have been greatly appreciated.
My house has 2 of these thermostats. I connected the first one to the app. Then I was never be able to connect the second one. I tried multiple times with no results. Now I have to control the second one manually. But the thermostats themselves are a great help.
My new home bring this thermostat. So far it look like is a product but because of lack of extra sensors like Ecobee, some rooms are hot. Considering to love back to ecobee at least Honeywell come with a new ideas to add extra sensors
