Right now I am super frustrated with this product. The downstairs one lost Wifi and I cannot get it to reconnect. The simple hold down the screen and a box should come up to reset and it does not. All directions that Honeywell gives do not with work.
The thermostat has to be set to heat or cool. It does not automatically decide if heating or cooling is needed. That’s important for those spring days where it’s either warm enough for AC or cold enough for heat. You have to manually select cool or heat.
The actual unit appears to work and is simple enough to use. However, the GeoFencing doesn't work well with two iphones X. When one leaves the Geofence area 1 mile, it pushes notification that noone is Home. Yet one is still at home and fortunately the unit keeps the Home setting for temperature. Exhibits issue with either iPhone leaving the area.
We purchased this with our new furnace and as we spend so much time away and at our cottage, the peace of mind we get from the ability to monitor and control remotely is fantastic. We are very happy with the T6.
