The thermostat works perfectly. The Resideo app however does not work so well. After using it for a month and a half, the screen went black and I could not revive it. I have removed it from my phone and I am using the thermostat as a standard thermostat. The programming capability is completely adequate for my needs.

This works pretty much like my former thermostat as far as programming. I do like having an app that lets me control it remotely by phone. I was not provided with any real instructions, so programming became mostly trial and error. For someone who never had a programmable thermostat before it could be a real challenge.

Great thermostat easy to use . Not sure if I can set it on auto when it’s warmer it will auto cool to the degree that’s set and the cold will auto set to the heat that’s set by it’s self .

Wifi does not work well. Always showing as disconnected. I have over 20 devices connected to wifi and never had an issue with any of them but this thermostat. Also it gets so bright middle of the night and wakes me up.

The display is not clear. You should be able to set the room temp., but instead you have to select . Instead you have to select raise or lower to a temp. That process is clumsy and not simple. There are much better Honeywell products but I was not told and therefore had no choice. The installer was an angry man who just wanted to berate Canadian politics vs USA, which I refused to do.
