I moved it to my house a year ago it's been working often disconnected from Wi-Fi a few times And now it's completely stopped working the thermostat will not even turn on
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Upgraded to this wifi thermostat. The device is good but for the price you pay it lacks simplicity to operate. It’s way too complicated to connect and continues to go offline. Also, the main reason why most people buy this is so that they could control it via app and the thermostat can switch from heat to AC automatically. This automatic feature is not defaulted, you must search through the user manual to set it to auto switch over. Silly, should be a default.

It works great, but getting the Wi-Fi connection to work remotely with my phone took many tries over many months. Gave up on it. Once the company switched from Honeywell to Resideo, I thought I’d give it another try. I was able to get things finally set up on the third try. Since then, everything has worked great!

Good quality well built plenty of options with Wi-Fi - just wish they had a few more features like for energy saving and being smart - example set at 72 but it’s only heat or cool - if you live in southern climate I find you are constantly switching between heat and cool- but I know it will cool down at night so I want heat

Impossible to use, even after calling in I have to get time to call again because app will not open so I can change settings hung up on one page, will not let me go to home screen.
