Thermostat is easy to use, however it annoyingly alerts me when it loses connection to the internet. I don't see an easy way to change the settings for this alarm. Perhaps there is a way, however I can't find it.

Mine failed at about five months old and my son had failure of his a few weeks prior to mine. In both instances Wi-Fi failed and unit had to be replaced under warranty but not a good sign.

Easy to physically install. I goofed and did something wrong while connecting the 2nd thermostat. Customer support was terrific and helped me get it right. It is really nice to be able to see temperatures, turn on heat/AC, and set heat/AC limits.

Wasn't aware I needed a smartphone to use wifi component. Was under the impression I could use my laptop, otherwise works as advertised.

The thermostat needs to be compatible with 5GHZ wi-fi. Big issues trying to link my phone to the thermostat.
