I had been looking for a thermostat that would change remotely but no one seemed to make one that had a remote kind of like a television. I'm a little older than most and my eyesight is not as great The thermostat that we had been using for years was getting hard to see and hard to change. So when our air conditioner went out and they put in the new system they added this Honeywell that works from my phone and it's been wonderful. When I remember to change it. My house was flooded by bad water heater so I'm not living there now but I do go there daily. And when I remember to change the thermostat before I leave the hotel I'm staying in it works wonderful and once I'm settled back in I'm going to set the schedule so far this thing works wonderful.

There is no AUTO mode that will control heat and AC. It is one or the other. The residio app does not work with google home.
