I like the thermostat especially because I purchased it for our lake home that we go to on weekends however this one is a bit more sophisticated and high-tech than I need. We had a Honeywell before this one for 3 years that I also regulated from the app from my phone but it "died" and the HVAC service person replaced it with this digital model. It's a good thermostat and has a feature called "home" and "vacation" that you can program for the temperature to stay while at home and then turn to another temperature when you leave and go on "vacation." I'm still learning the features.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great thermostat but hard to program. I have 4 other Residio thermostats and those models are all easier to program. This one also required downloading the Residio app rather than letting me add this new thermostat to the TCC (Honeywell) app where all my other thermostats are. I would recommend a different model if you have a choice.

Great Thermostat for the Environmentally Conscious

My only regret is not installing this sooner. No more constant trips to the thermostat. No more changing the setting by 1 degree at a time to find a comfort level. This thermostat is a smart worker!
