Love the app feature. Can remotely turn my unit on or off and view usage time. Allows you to set up a schedule. Only complaint would be it doesnt have a timer.

This is a very easy to use and very capable thermostat, but it could be better.
1. It would be very nice if the ‘set point’ (‘room’) temperature could be changed by a half (or even quarter) of a degree F instead of a whole degree; sometimes, changing the temperature by a ‘whole’ degree results in being too cold (or too hot if heating) whereas a smaller change could feel ‘just right’ and provide greater comfort.
2. Since this thermostat records and reports total runtime each day, it could also record and report cycle start and stop times, thus allowing the homeowner to check for short or long on/off cycling, possibly indicating a system that needs service.

Such a life improvement to be able to control my AC and fan controls from the comfort of my bed, monitor when I’m staying elsewhere, or turn it in a couple hours before arriving after a trip. The programmable schedule is super easy to use and adjust. Such level of control seems to be the best way to minimize electricity bills too.
Seems silly, but I cannot overstate how cool it feels to turn it on or off from the comfort of bed.

I gave 4 & not 5 because there is no auto setting. It is either heat or cool. In NC, the weather can go from hot in the afternoon to cool overnight during certain times of the year & you could easily need need both in a day. I hate waking up hot & it's hard to get out of bed when it is cold! Otherwise, very reliable equipment with no trouble connecting or reconnecting if you lose service for a short period of time.
