I am embarrassed to admit this is my second go around with this model and will be my second time to use one — as a target at the range. That’s about all it’s worth.
I am once again sitting in the heat (103-105 degrees outside) on a holiday weekend, so at least 3 days of waiting before even a hope of getting a service call.
There is no battery to be changed (although online trouble shooting indicates that is the best solution.) The first one we had, the technician laughed about that. Said it was a factory flaw, and installed a new thermostat, though unfortunately the same brand and model. So now, here goes ROUND TWO!
So my call to the repair guy will include a request that neither this model or brand will be installed in my home again. DONE!

Hi, we are sorry to hear about this. If your thermostat has a blank display, we recommend you having the installer checking the AC voltage that the thermostat is receiving from the HVAC system. This model has 5 years of warranty through the installer. As a Facilities Cordinator & Home Owner monitoring & controlling AC is a breeze. Customer Service was a joy to work with helping me set up both accounts without conflict quickly, efficiently and pleasantly. This product indicates when 1 of several AC units isn't operating efficiently. Preparing spaces for varying sized groups with 90+degree heat is simple. Expenses can be effectively reduced through adjustable scheduling. Evidence of units operating poorly enables timely tech maintenance consults & maintenance scheduling. A/C provider installed these with a new unit. I love the fact that it connects to the Wi-Fi and I can control it with my mobile. I like that it shows run time of each unit. Schedule setting is very easy for the 4 periods of each day. My only complaint and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the calibration of the temperature is off about 2 degrees. I used to keep my old thermostat at 74. I now have to keep it at 72 for the same comfort level. I did buy temp/humidity sensors to validate it wasn't just me. The sensors prove I need to keep it 2 degrees below what I want (which is 2 degrees below the thermostat on the last unit).

The interface is easy to use making the configuration simple. Wireless connectivity allows you to configure and monitor the temperature from the phone. You can set multiple temperatures for different days and times during the week.
