Very confusing on how to use it and set it up. Watched several YouTube videos and was still confused. Had to have someone else set it up for me. Think about your customers who are elderly. Make a version easier to use. I know someone at your company must be able to do that if they can make one that isn't user friendly. Would rather have it be an option to get a thermostat similar to what I grew up with or like the one I used for over 30 years -- you turned the dial up or down to the temp you wanted. My son put the app on my phone and that is even more confusing. I don't bother using it.
The Honeywell T6 thermostat was easy to program, connect to WiFi, and control from anywhere using my smart phone. I prefer the logical approach to scheduling my thermostat control-cycles, which is why I'm so satisfied with this thermostat.
We have vacation property in Northern Wisconsin. Last Christmas, we discovered that the last person to use the property had not turned the heat on for the winter. Needless to say, a pipe burst in the basement and we had a flood! Now, I can check the temperature remotely and make sure this doesn’t happen again. It's very easy to use. I love it!
Easy to install, easy to use, good product. This product solves a problem for me as my mother cannot get up from her wheel chair to adjust her heat/cooling. This thermostat works over the internet and I am easily able to accomodate her needs from anywhere with my iPhone.
I was happily surprised that the thermostat was programmable for both Alexa and Siri. I love simply asking what "is the temperature" and saying "increase the temperature to 70 degrees" and the thermostat responds to both correctly. I seem to recall that to get the thermostat to connect to Siri I had to press the center of the thermostat for a few seconds to get into the mode that allows that. i got this from a YouTube video and not from the instruction manual. Should have been clearer in the written instructions.
