All of my thermostats have been digital with an ‘auto’ mode that switched from a/c to heat based on the program. I’ve had this ability for 23+ years with older thermostats. However, I don’t see this capability with this new “smart” thermostat and this is quite disappointing. The new features are cool, but losing the ability to automatically switch from a/c to heat without intervention is not cool.

Hi, the T6 pro does have the auto changeover feature, please see direction below. 1. Press and hold the "Menu" button until "Device Setup" appears, and press "Select." 2. Use the arrow button to go to function 300 at the top of the screen and press "Edit." 3. Use the arrow buttons to set the Auto-Changeover feature to "On" or "Off."
Does not display outside temp or forecast like the Lyric. Also, have not figured out how to manually adjust temp up and down. Have to change via the Resideo App which is not always as convenient as walking up to change it. Also, would like to have the room temperature display without having to touch the thermostat.
I don learn me the fact that if my wi-fI goes down which it did the other day, my wi-fI stops working. That is not a good thing. If you are not home there is nothing you can do to fix it. You should be able to use data if need be.

Hi, we appreciate your feedback and would like the opportunity to help. Our Support Center link at the top of the page has all the ways you can get in contact with us to discuss where the issue may be.
I like the thermostat as I can use wifi to turn the heat or air conditioning up and down if needed. There does seem to be a glich....anytime I turn the heat up at home...after I hit the button for the heat to go up a few times, it pops up whether for it to be a temporary adjustment. I wish it would wait until I am done adjusting it to ask as I have to go back and continue turning the heat up.
