My old thermostat was much better and showed me the outside temp was lite up and easy to connect to on the internet. Next time my furnace is serviced I will ask the service man to reconnect my old thermostat

Thermostat works great, but requires an IT person to get it functioning. Luckily I have a software engineer for a friend, who, after studying the directions overnight, was able to figure it out. The installers weren’t even able to decipher them. Good luck if you’re a novice.
