Basics are ok but…Too complex to change set point between heat and Emergency Heat. Also the data provided on the heating operations and source and time of day is very limited.
Coming from an Ecobee thermostat at my previous home, this feels a bit underwhelming. It works but the app is a bit basic. For instance we like to recirculate the air and on the Ecobee you can select the # of minutes per hour you want it to circulate. The T6 is just an on/off button for recirculate. Also there’s not a heat & AC option. In Texas in the fall/winter, we can alternate between the two. The Ecobee you can set a temp for either the AC or heat to kick in with a range of temps in between. The T6 is either one or the other.
I bought it a month ago or so. It has been excellent so far. I had the extra wire behind the old thermostat and my Heating guy hooked it up in no time. Seems to give much more even heat than the 20 year old one I replaced. Maybe more responsive? Will be buying another for upstairs which I plan on installing myself.
