I originally bought this to be able to maintain an apartment that I am not always able to check on. The winter months I am always afraid of the temperature dropping below freezing in the furnace not working properly and busted pipes. This thermostat gives me warnings if the apartment drops below a certain temperature and I can adjust the temperature from any location. It’s easy to operate and a breeze to install would definitely recommend.
