My only observation that brings the score to "4" is no Humidity Sensor in the thermostat. The people installing the A/C system and Thermostat did not know it was WiFi compatible.
Took a couple of tries to get connected to wifi, but since then it's been stable. Hard to see screen and the touchscreen buttons are too small and easily mistaken for other buttons. But otherwise the small size and bright backlight are very nice. The online control app is fast and responsive. I just would like to have more features like a run time graph, or temperature over time graph, so i can manually optimize when the furnace/chiller kicks on
My husband and I absolutely love the Honeywell T6 Pro Smart Thermostat! No, we weren’t paid to say that. Ours recently got replaced when we got a new central heating and air system. Both are working out wonderfully. Controlling our household temperature on my iPhone is revolutionary to this old chick. The Honeywell has mode settings for heat, air and off. Schedule settings for four daily temperature changes and times for these changes. You can also set day by day if you choose to do so. Fan options can’t be underestimated. This helps pull the heat from upstairs in the winter and circulate cool air back upstairs in the summer. The second level in our townhouse stays overheated year round. The thermostat fan resolves this issue by pushing that air downstairs and pulling better air upstairs. The best case scenario is when traveling. You can set your home at a lower temp to save on electricity. The day of your return, simply set to your desired setting. If the weather unexpectedly changes while gone you have the ability to counter that by changing the temp to adhere to the local weather. Examples would be an unexpected blizzard, storm or heatwave. This keeps your pipes from freezing. Hopefully, this review has helped you make your decision in purchasing the Honeywell T6 Pro Smart. I cannot think of any disadvantages to this purchase. The price is above average but it’s worth every penny.
