After initial setup, which is doable but tricky, this is a good thermostat. The only thing missing is the AUTO mode. I live in west Texas and many winter, spring, and fall days require both heating AND cooling. Apparently the non-wifi thermostat has this, so I can't understand why they did not include this vital feature. Maybe there is an upgrade?

I had pros install my new ac. They could not get this to work via wifi. I’m good at these things and I could not either. Avoid this product.

Will not run schedule ! May even decide to quit working. 8° day it decided to quit while away. Was 48° and dropping while out of town. Could have caused extensive damage if not noticed by guy taking care of pets.really should be zero rating!

Great! fully compatible with Gree central Heatpump

After replacing my 15 year old central air conditioner with Gree Flexx 5ton Heatpump, my installer and I had been struggling with Ecobee lite 3 thermostat. Ecobee could never properly control the temperature and air flow from Gree central heat pump, made the furnace malfunctioning with screaming noise, bad temperature, using auxiliary heat, and bad smell. I almost lost confidence in Heatpump, and had to continue using my gas heating.
Finally my installer replaced Ecobee with Resideo T6 Pro, then I see the furnace smoothly quietly and constantly delivering pleasant airflow, so quickly to bring room temperature up in this winter. I would like to say Resideo T6 pro is a smart and powerful brain for my central Heatpump. Just the right thermostat for my Heatpump. So far so good. Highly recommend. No complaint.

What a T@RD of a thermostat

Bought two of these when we installed new ac. Ditched them and went with basic heat pump thermostats. Installer said buy the T8 because these always break. If honeywell cared they'd Gove you credit to upgrade by turning these in

Dangerous product

Honestly I really like this thermostat a lot until today. Stopped working entirely and when I went to troubleshooting found scorch marks on the back. Dangerous product that needs to be removed.

was purchased in June and by the time winter came around the heat did not work at all and the thermostat had all the heater problem signs. Had no heat for quite a while as the builder had to replace it and diagnose the problem for days.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
