We had a Nest thermostat in our previous home. The app was way easier than the Honeywell and was easier to work with generally.

Thermostat has failed twice. WiFi module continues to have âradio errorâ requiring replacement of the unit. Also, continues to disconnect and reconnect to server. Replaced unit with Ecobee 4.

This is an absolute nightmare and a horrible experience - the thermostat CONSTANTLY goes off line - what is the sense of having an app on smart phone when it NEVER works - DO NOT BUY - DO NOT RECOMMEND this thermostat.

The menu travel on the unit and phone app are cumbersome. It's OK but not the best.

The programming is unnecessarily made complicated. It could have been easily made simpler. The thermostat did not come with printed instructions and the small brochure asks us to visit the website which was down every time I visited. Bad experience.
