The product works well. The WiFi set up was easy. BUT, the detailed set-up was difficult, as there are a large number of optional settings since this thermostat supports many system types. The owners manual optional settings tables need to be written to match the thermostat UI.

Wonderful product. Helps keep the house comfortable and reduces energy cost. The geofencing feature is awesome. How many times have you forgotten to turn down the heat or AC before leaving for work? Now it does it automatically based on your setting. In addition, when on vacation you can check the house temperature to keep animals safe. Great product.

I see little advantage to a smart wifi thermostat without the ability to customize your hvac operation. Better off getting a basic digital thermostat.
If its not connected to wifi, it provides a message multiple times daily on the screen that needs to be cleared manually to see your temp.
Just a glorified data tracker for honeywell by the feeling of it.
