So I was very excited to get this thermostat set up. My first stumple was trying to figure out the correct app to download. My user manual said one thing, the app store another. Still not sure I have the correct app. I am using the honeywell one, but my manual says lyric. Honeywell website not helpful in its clarification. Phone call a waste of time. Figured it out w the help of my plumber, but they were confued too

Really Bad Planning

I received this Thermostat with my new HVAC system. Two major problems. The first, although it only affects some counties/states, it ASSuMEs that your location observes Daylight Savings (really dumb). The second is that it "LEARNS". Well, I don't want something that "LEARNS". Again Honeywell ASSUMES that I want my system to start up before the time that I set. I DON'T. Honeywell has no idea where the system is located in relation to master bedroom or other bedrooms. Some people have very sensitive hearing. I don't but I hear when the system comes on and it does it as much as 45 minutes before my set time. Stay away from this product.

T6 sucks

I have two of these units installed in my storage facility and one of them sends me multiple notifications, daily, of it’s inability to communicate with the WiFi connection. The other T6 works just fine and it’s 45’ away from the faulty one. Definitely a serious product problem!!

Can’t register the device

Get everything done but then it freezes and you have to cancel setup.to get out of it.
Not happy at all. The two professionals had problems on setting it up as well.

Not connecting to my iPhone

while I tried many times to connect my iPhone with my home thermostat, getting error due to thermostat is not compatible with IOS 14.0 or above which is completely annoying.

Horribly hard to program!

The brochure does not explain how to program this device and it's not intuitive. Wish I'd spent the extra money purchasing the unit provided by the furnace manufacturer.
