Terrible product - do not connect to WiFi!

I set the schedule, but it doesn't follow it. I recheck the schedule and make sure it shows that the heat should turn up to 69 at 8am and turn down to 62 at 10pm, but still the heater will go on after 10pm when the thermostat shows the temperature is 67. And then in the morning the heater will start up at 7am when it hasn't even dipped down to 62. It is so freaking annoying! What's the point of setting a schedule if the thermostat isn't going to follow it? Then I connected the thermostat to WiFi and then it lost the connection to the network, even though my other devices stayed connected, and it kept showing triangle warning error and I followed all the instructions I could find for clearing the error, but it didn't work, and as a result of the screen always being lit up from the error message, the screen burned out in a few months. Fortunately, it was under warranty with the builder and I got it replaced. But I will never connect it to WiFi again. The scheduling still doesn't work right. I would never recommend this thermostat.

No Wi-Fi

This product is your worst nightmare!! Tried to connect to the home app and Wi-Fi will not work, even had the installer try to no avail . This is a very difficult unit to setup do not buy a T6 try something else.

Great but it broke after 16 months

I bought a Honeywell as my last Honeywell programable thermostat lasted 27 years. I liked the ability to control the new thermostat remotely. Sadly it broke after 15 months. On Easter Sunday morning. I thought that it would be easy to replace like for like but that is a challenge. Thermostats have to be 100% reliable otherwise it is hard to go on vacation.

Difficult if not impossible to connect to app

I set this up about 4 months ago and it was a big pain. It took me many attempts to get the app to connect to my T6 thermostat device. Now in the last day or so, the app kept flashing a message that the name of the app would soon change. What a stupid message. I just ignored it the dumb message. Today my thermostat no longer shows up in the app. I am back to performing the "add device" process. But when following the setup instructions my iphone 12 fails to establish the wifi connection to the thermostat. I see the thermostat in the list of wifi connections but when I select it, it just keeps spinning and never connects. This is a major pain because I have become accustomed to using the app late at night to change the temperature.

Not a good product; do not buy.

This thermostat was installed to replace the ones that came with my home three years ago. I have a smart home and the original installed with the system was not wireless. It worked fine for several months, but now it stops working every three or four months. I live in Florida and it gets really warm, so not having a working AC unit is not accpetable. The local com pany that provides services is very slow to response and I havve to wait from 24-36 hours to get a technician. sometmes, the tech arrives after 9 pm. Horrible!

I moved to new home. Only lasted 2.5 years. Right after warranty… have two units. Upstairs unit still working, let’s see how much longer it will last.

Always breaks!

My home is brand new and out of everything that could break, this thermostat has broken twice in two years! I don’t even run my hvac unit that much for it to suddenly die! I now can’t turn off the unit as it chose to stop working while I’m using the heat, even with trying to turn off the breaker. Piece of garbage. Stop selling this thermostat Honeywell, you’re better than this!

I have two of these in my home and neither one will connect to the Resideo app. I’ve followed the instructions, tried multiple solutions with no success. Having had an Ecobee in the past, I want to go back.
