I was interested in the Nest because of its WiFi capability.. but, this unit is very much comparable.

You sent directions to program a daily range but it did not allow me to program anything. It kept asking m to install anew device and became very frustrating. It works manually but I would not recommend it for seniors.

The initial installation and setup went very smooth. Then my wifi network changed and I could not get the thermostat to communicate to the app in my phone. The new app update told me to turn off mobile data on my phone. Worked perfect after that.

I really wish we could adjust the dead ban on the thermostat. It is running all the time switching on and off constantly. It would behoove Honeywell to allow their customers to be able to adjust this setting. The algorithm doesnât work!

Itâs gives you the online and gps functions you want without paying an outrageous amount for something like a nest.
