I have had 2 of these for over a year now. It did take a little bit to set up originally because I didn't have great wifi. I had too many things using a rural service. Once we upgraded our internet they work great. I have them set to tell me if they go offline. They remind me when to replace the filters. They also tell me if it gets too hot or cool, especially during the time when you need heat at night and air in the day.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Cannot get the thermostat to connect to my app, and I'm not bad at doing this stuff. Absolutely maddening! Now I'm going to have to get the HVAC guy to take them back. So annoying.

Worst Thermostat and Support

Stopped working after having it a little over a year and when I contacted support, I was told it wasn't my thermostat but my HVAC system. Had someone come out and it was the thermostat. So I replaced it with something more reliable.

Absolute Garbage

Brand new installation, less than 1 month old, and will not stay connected to internet. Strong 100 mbps signal that no other equipment has issues. Now it won't connect at all, can't reset because touch screen doesn’t work. Junk - DO NOT PURCHASE

Poor Product/Service

This thermostat was installed in my new build home. It worked fine for a while. But, eventually it dropped from my network. It became impossible to reinstall. I spoke with support for over two hours in one day. They went so far as to ask me to use voltage meter to check the voltage before finally telling me to call the installer to have the warranty honored. Same issue with the device the installer brought out. I found several reviews siting the same issue. The installer/HVAC company even advised me the T6 and Honeywell in general were to be avoided and suggested that I purchase Nest thermostats. They completely disregarded the 5 year warranty stating that there was really nothing they could do for me because it was a bad product.

Technically Flawed

I am a new tenant at an apartment with this Thermostat. I am unable to register/connect to my app due to the previous tenant not relinquishing control from his/her app. There is nothing I can do about it except to 1. tell the former tenant to login and release control or 2. call the customer service during office hours. What a pain!! Google Nest Thermostat will let you override it if you have physical access to the thermostat.

Horrible Thermostat

This thermostat does not connect to the internet, it constantly says “fail to include”. Do not recommend any of the Honeywell thermostats.
