This is much more simplistic than the prior thermostat. The interface to a phone isn’t always correct. New isn’t always better.

I had this installed with a whole home HVAC system replacement. It was very convenient, but the wall unit quit working at 11 months. The installation company honored a replacement request. Hopefully this will unit lasts longer.

Last week my children were home from school during the weekday. It would have been nice to be able to have a quick or easy enough button for children to use to change to the weekend settings for just that day. Then when the day is over it would continue with the normal schedule.

Great thermostat. However, I wish it would somehow show when it's actually calling for heat or AC. For instance light up the background with red or blue when it's calling for the system to run.
