We switched from the NEST thermostat to the T6 Smart Thermostat when we installed a new HVAC. We are still getting accustomed to the features and functions of the T6 and learning about the options to conserve energy through programming. In general, we are pleased with he T6 but we do miss the backlit screen of the NEST that would display current temp settings.

So convenient for a vacation home. Check temperature to see if heating/cooling system is operating properly. Prevents worry if electricity goes off. Alerts if system goes down for any reason. Highly recommend. Easy to start up and use. Worth the price iver non wifi thermostat.

Easy to install, even as a home owner. I went from Honeywell (non-WiFi) to the T6 and the wiring was identical. Follow the instructions, most importantly, turn off the power to the furnace and A/C before installing, and it’s straight-forward. Ok now gave Resideo at my cabin and my home and the piece of mine to be able to monitor them both regardless of where I am!
