I love everything about my new T6 WiFi thermostat! It it super efficient, but my favorite thing is the ability to physically be hundreds of miles away from my house and use the app to change the thermostat and cool my house before I get home. That function is AMAZING!!!
I’ve just purchased a 3 year old home that this product was installed in when the home was built. I didn’t have owners manuals but found them online to set up remote access. In my previous home I had a smart WiFi color thermostat from Honeywell. It was installed when I replaced my HVAC by the contractor. I loved it! I loved 7 day, 4 time, summer/winter and humidifier control. I need to preface this that I am not unhappy with this new device but it Durant have the bells and whistles of come to love. When this one ages out, I will replace it with the Smart WiFi Color version. Because the unit was previously registered to the previous owners (andi had to wait for internet to be set up) I had difficulty setting it up to do remote or anything other than basic programming on the screen. I had to call in to the help center (very helpful and patient) to reregister to me. I love having access worldwide. I love the geofencing opportunities. For an old bird, I love tech! I just wish it was easier to set up a previously owned device when the home has a new owner. I hope the new owners of my house have an easier time!! Thank you for asking and hearing my thoughts.
