I was recommending this product to a friend and looked at all the negative comments. I have had these stats for several years now with no problems other than the occasional offline or wireless issues like with anything else these days. The only thing I would say is the set up and menu selection is not the most user friendly but it’s not that bad as some would say. We use Honeywell commercial products in my line of work which led me to these. Great bang for the buck if you ask me.

Usage data is too slow. It’s almost always a week behind. Other than that the interface is pretty decent and the temp is accurate.

We connected the app to the thermostat about a month ago. It has disconnected from the app by itself two times. Cannot get back in will not recognize the password. Terrible product terrible app terrible waste of time to spend the money on the new thermostat to not have it connected to the phone that that's the whole point.

Bought a new house and this was included. So far it has worked and I have not had the issue others have had. It is not as good as my previous smart thermostat but not so bad that I have taken the time to swap them. The app works but usually there is a slight lag before it shows the current details. Meaning I have to wait or open and close it a few times.
