Generally there is not as much functionality as Google Nest or Ecobee. Also, the Geofencing option does not seem to work well and you can only set oen temperature when you are home. Why can't it run a schedule when I am home?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The thermostat looks good, but to use it seems a bit trying. I am trying to figure why the unit wont display heater and ac numbers on one view. You have to go to the next page ( so to speak) to view what your using, heat of ac, the pick and save. Just seems it could be a better layout, on my phone

Love the smart thermostat! Super easy to connect with your home wifi. The only thing that held me from giving a 5 star rating was the fact that the app to wasn't as easy to find/download. It's Resideo NOT Honeywell.
Other than that, I seriously love the convenience of being able to use the app from truly ANYWHERE.
