I would not buy this system again. The standard thermostat, non-smart, used for decades, never malfunctioned. The instruction manuals and website do not have information for basic battery replacement. The old version did not have batteries, and worked fine for decades.

Hi, we are sorry to hear about this and apologize for the inconvenience. This thermostat does not use batteries. If the thermostat has a blank display, please reach out to your HVAC contractor to take a look at this and check voltage. This model has 5 years of warranty through the installer.
