Thermostat wasn't compatible with new wifi wpa 3. I had to go buy a second lower end router just to connect this to wifi and I had to figure that out on my own after being on with support for 3 hours.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Difficult to use... and I cannot seem to get the programs to do what I want them to do. No instructions available anywhere for the questions I have, nor for what I want to accomplish

This thermostat has been unfortunately very underwhelming. Starting with initial set up and getting this thermostat to connect and link up with the Wifi was a complete disaster. Had to do this process again after a few months when it lost connection. Very frustrating.

It will control my heat and AC well. All the other garbage on it is just that, garbage. UI is simple but the WiFi setup is horrible. Once connected, it’s slow to react. Easier just to get up and change the temp settings yourself.
