This item came with the house we purchased. We previously had a Nest at a previous house and after experiencing this T6 model, we much prefer the Nest and plan to make the switch. We gave this a 3 star for an average rating.

Nothing but issues since installation

Nothing but issues since installation. Indoor temp sensor error, wifi errors. My older Sensi Thermostat was 100% better quality, and it actually had physical buttons to press. Save your money and buy Sensi.

Lacks basic function. Got for free and tossed it

Lacking basic function of heat/cool mode. You have to constantly switch back and forth. I got these for free in my new construction, tossed them out immediately and got ecobee lite. No regrets.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, the auto changeover feature can be enabled on this model by performing the following.
1. On the T-series thermostat tap the screen so "Menu" shows at the bottom of the screen.
2. Press and hold the "Menu" button until "Device Setup" appears, and press "Select."
3. Use the arrow button to go to function 300 at the top of the screen and press "Edit."
4. Use the arrow buttons to set the Auto-Changeover feature to "On" or "Off."

It is wonderful to have my smartphone wifi thermostat. One improvement --- why doesn't it have biometric login. I want to just use my fingerprint for logging in.. please... with pin as backup

Not Enough Detailed Instructions
on January 10, 2025

I see no instructions for replacing a thermostat with a new, same mode, thermostat. Do I Delete a Thermostat to set-up the new one? Is this why I can't connect new one to wifi? V
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
Response from resideo.comBy JoeyCustomer careJanuary 14, 2025
Hi, you can delete an old thermostat from the app by first selecting the thermostat tile to view the full controls, tap the settings gear, tap thermostat configuration and delete thermostat. You can setup the new unit by pressing the + button on the bottom of the app. We're here to help if you need assistance in the future - just visit our Support Center link at the top of the page to find ways to contact us.
