Does a reasonable job but two main criticisms:
- in controlling a heat pump system with gas as auxiliary heat it gives no indication to the user which heat sources it is calling for. Since the blower runs in both cases I have to go to the basement to see if just the HP or HP + furnace are running.
- the description on how it deals with droop is very vague and I’ve had to trial and error with various droop setting to try and reverse engineer its algorithm. Why not just tell me?

Both my wife and I love it! This replaced a 13-14 year old Honeywell thermostat that was very difficult to use. This thermostat is very simple and easy to use. We also love having the Residio app.

Love the T6 Smart Thermostat!

I’m in shock - having read all of these negative reviews on this site - as my T6 Smart Thermostat has worked GREAT ever since it was installed when our house was built 6 years ago! I LOVE this thermostat. It keeps my electric bills significantly lower than all of my neighbors, too. I did have some initial set up issues when we got our new router, but that was it. I programmed it to 72 in the summertime going up to 80 at night when sleeping, and in wintertime its set for 70 during the day and 62 at night. It keeps that schedule very accurately. I also have the geofencing set for an 8 mile radius and that works really well, too. I honestly have nothing bad to say about the T6 Smart Thermostat. With the program set as it is, my heating/electric bill for this 2325 sq ft home is the SAME COST as it was for the 1800 sq ft home we had prior to this! I’d say that something to crow about. Granted, the newer & more prevalent insulation has something to do with that - but so does the ability to lower my costs by the programming schedule of this thermostat. I’ve had several Honeywell products in time past: electronic air cleaners, humidifiers (AprilAire) at 2 different houses and I had zero trouble with any of them.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Solid enetry level WiFi thermostat.

We install quite a few of these, we are a heating co. As far as WiFi thermostats go, these are pretty solid, and they are economical as far as price point. We install the Pro version with the 5 years part warranty, and have not had very many fail inside the warranty period. They are not hard to set up, I think people out there tend to skip steps and then they have a hard time of it, follow the instructions step by step and they set up just fine every time.

Honeywell is RUBBISH

I had three of these thermostats installed with new systems I purchased. They cannot be connected to my Wifi. They cannot find my WiFi network although the Residio app seems to find it just fine. It cannot connect. They are rubbish. How can you have so many reviews with a 2.0 average rating and still sell the product. Never again. Honeywell is rubbish. Don't every consider buying this product or you will regret it.

Ce thermostat est d’une belle simplicité à paramétrer et à utiliser. Il y a une fonction Vacance pour ajuster la température ou utiliser la fonction recherche qui baise la température à votre sortie et le hausse à votre arrivé. Je peux intervenir à distance mais seulement sur 1 seul appareil. Si avec iPhone, pas possible avec mon iPad. NON COMPATIBLE à la norme MATTER.
