Less than bare bones. Ability to connect to a phone through their private server does not make up for missing features that should not be considered optional when wifi is included. No outdoor thermometer, no auto heat/cool setting, only four programming sections without the ability to set per day. Wifi feature works (until the service is discontinued), but provides no additional features to the main unit.

Bad software, cannot connect easily to internet

Whenever I reboot my router, the T6 thermostat fails to connect to the internet. It is useless for controlling my heat pump when I'm not at home. It "remembers" which WiFi network it should connect to, but it is non-standard to the point where my router doesn't recognise it as an internet-capable device.

Very flexible thermostat, allows multi-stage for our new multi-stage furnace and the WiFi option is essential in today's connected world. The two drawbacks that keeps me from giving this 5 stars is that there is a 48 hour delay in seeing your system usage. This seems extraordinarily long and a unnecessary delay. Second issue is that it will just tell you how long your system ran. It won't provide details on if this was on 1st or 2nd stage to understand 'how hard' the system ran. And it won't tell you when the system ran. It just says something like ran heat for 3 hours. I prefer to know 'when it ran and how hard it ran' so I can try adjusting my temperature settings if possible to make sure I am consuming energy at low cost times and save the higher demand for offpeak if possible.

Hi Sylvania, Thank you for taking the time to rate the T6 Pro Smart thermostat, we appreciate the feedback and will utilize your comments as we update our products.
This having been my first encounter with a "smart" thermostat, I'm thoroughly impressed. The ability and ease to modify the temperature and schedule from my phone is so wonderful. The response is great and takes away the guess of remembering what I had previously set as temps. I love it

Functional but very dated

Badly designed UI with non-intuitive inconsistent design, limited app features.
This thing looks like it was made in the early 2000s, compared to Nest.
Buy a Nest if you have the option.

Trying to register my T6/TH6220WF2006 but your site doesn't list anywhere to do that. In the mean time i'm getting notices on the thermostat screen to "register" it! This is very annoying ... why would you not allow me to register.

Honeywell always makes a product that can control my hot water systems flawlessly. Have 3 T5s and swapped out for a T6 because I needed to control temp brackets. Newer fancy brands forget how to design heat override anticipation with cast iron radiators. This is the best of history with remote app control for multiple properties.
