These guys should be embarrassed to even offer this product and associated app. What is Resideo? Why can't the app just be called Honeywell? Why does the app prompt me to allow notifications every time I open it, when I have notifications disabled for a reason?
Why can't I schedule the furnace fan, why is it that I can only schedule heating/cooling?
I feel like an old man screaming at kids to get off my lawn, but seriously, this product is laughably bad.
Get literally any alterative - Nest, Ecobee, whatever you want, they're all better than this.
I like simple. This is simple and easy to use. I don't fuss much with the app but the thermostat didn't require reading a manual to understand how to use it. (I support RTFM 100%) If I were to make any recommendation for improvement, it would be to take advantage of all that white space by making the text a bit bigger for old guys like me, please. I hate having to run for my reading glasses every time I want to change the thermostat.
could not get it to stay connected to my network so gave up. Plus ez to hack. I wish stayed on main screen. I do love the locking ability though!!!!! That's best feature of all
Easy to use. Love do to any thing from your phone is there ready to setup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Go with a Nest

HVAC company recommended this for a smart thermostat. Several friends have Nest thermostats and they seem WAY less finicky to deal with. Set up, as mentioned is "a bear" but that's not the end of it. The GEO tracking rarely works, but that's fine because usually the only time we change it before we get home is in the winter and the app (when it connects) makes it easy enough to do before you head home. No issues with the functions of the unit once you get it programed, just the "smart" features, connectivity, stability... Bottom line, it's a solid thermostat with major limitations on the "smart" side of things. The monthly reports are very nice, easy to see display, easy to walk by and bump temp up or down, and app is not horrible (when everything is connects to the wifi.) Improvements needed. Look elsewhere.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi OldguyNe, thank you for your review of the T6 pro smart thermostat. We recommend you making sure that it is connected to a 2.4 GHz only Wi-Fi network to prevent disconnection. For Geofence, please make sure that all users have separate accounts, are added as users and logged into only one smartphone each. Verify that Geofence is on, that radius is set to 2 miles at least and that you are using the Geofence type schedule. Location services and background app refresh should be on for Resideo app on all devices and battery optimization off. Have all users log out and back in at the same time to refresh the Geofence. Visit our Support Center link at the top of the page for ways to get in touch and someone would be happy to help.

TH62220WF2006 Thermostats Don't buy these!

Unfortunately we have replaced all 4 of these in our home. We have 2 AC units with 4 zones. Our new home is only 4 years old. Every T6 thermostate has only lasted 12-16 months before going blank or bad. Why can't you make a product that can last at least 5 years Honeywell?
