Terrible, worse than useless

Its hard to imagine a greater waste of silicon. Someone designed and coded this. I feel sorry for them because its obvious that they were given chaotic requirements.
Nothing on this makes sense to me, a software engineer, and for my elderly parents it means they are constantly setting it improperly. How could you design something without thinking about elderly folks and their confusion? This device is not advanced but it tries to give advanced features but they just lead to elderly people making mistakes. The design SHOULD have just had an "easy" feature that presented a target temperature and nothing else. There should have been user testing. That was clearly not done.

It is possible to configure the thermostat as a non-programmable unit so they only have to select the mode (heat/cool/off) and set temperature. The Thermostat works well but it should be able to be on more than one person's phone app. People live together in a house and thermostats should be able to be controlled by all who live there!

not so smart as you want it to be. fix wifi when there is combined 2.4ghz and 5/6 ghz available. your problem with not connecting should have been fixed 15 years ago! I had to set up an OLD 2.4 ghz router to get the T6 UN-smart thermostats to work. Unacceptable with today's tech! Also, Its time for Honeywell to embrace the MATTER/Thread standard!
