I moved into a new residence 2 months ago and the builder had installed this Honeywell thermostat in my downstairs. It works well and keeps the downstairs cool; however, I had different Smart Thermostat at my previous house, and I am finding this Honeywell thermostat to be more difficult to use and the interface with my phone to be less intuitive. I will probably end up swapping it out for a Nest thermostat or for an Ecobee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
