Hi, you can set min/max, heat/cool setpoints from the installer menu listed on page 15 of the manual, see link below to access.

This is easy to use in app, and setting alarms if temperature isn’t maintained lets me know if my unit is not operating properly. I bought one for my other home after using.

I am a proponent of Emerson's Sensi Thermostat. I am giving this one a chance as it came with the home. I am not impressed with with it. Is not intuitive to use. Default settings do not include auto switch from heat to cool. You have to read the manual and table of all config settings to figure out how to set to auto switch from heat / cool. Also the usage data is always 2 days lagging which is really annoying and quite frankly not useful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
