Needs easier app or interface.

The manual lacked details requiring a call to support. Have to switch my phone to a 24 hr clock every time I need to reprogram it. Programming the daily schedule is challenging- and it’s not easy to switch modes. Connects with Alexa but Alexa can’t do much.

Expectation: WIFI gives status reports that are accurate. Actual, the reports are delayed by several days. While I can tolerate the current day not showing, being 4 days lag seems to be ridiculous delay, other than a software bug. This does not seem to be justifiable.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Outdoor Temperature Shortcoming

To make sense of whet the thermostat is doing, the interface needs to display the outdoor temperature, whether taken from the internet or from a sensor.

Good, but not at first

This is a good thermostat now. But at first the user manual referred to an "Auto" mode that I couldn't get to. Had to have the installer come back a second time to change a code behind the scenes to activate the "Auto" mode. Why should you have to do that, it should just be there. The "Auto" mode is why I wanted the thermostat in the first place, so I could set it and forget it.

Hi Char J, thanks for the review, you can adjust the idle screen brightness by performing the following.
1. Select Menu.
2. Press the right arrow to Screen Brightness and select.
3. Adjust the brightness by pressing the +/- buttons.
4. Select Done to save.
