Works fine, but not full-featured. A pair of them came with the house we bought on the MD Eastern Shore. Easy to set up and control in app. I’d prefer they could hold a temperature range and automatically switch between heating and cooling, but this model doesn’t seem to include that feature. Otherwise solid.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi, this model does have the auto changeover feature where the unit automatically switches between heat and cool. Please see direction below.
1. Press and hold Menu until the screen changes.
2. Press select on Device setup.
3. Press the right arrow until #300 appears and select edit.
4. Press the right arrow to change the setting to Automatic.
5. Press Done to save.

It’s just OK, there are better I think. My old Carrier thermostat from 2010 could display outside temp and humidity, and this one can’t. Since this is wireless it seems like they could have added a wireless outdoor sensor for temp and humidity. The smartphone app uses the internet to show local conditions, so why couldn’t they send this info to the thermostat for display as well?
Also I can hear the relays clicking in the thermostat whenever it calls for heat/cool and fan. Not loud, but I can hear it when Im sleeping, as the thermostat is just outside bedrooms in hallway. Never heard any relays in my past 3 thermostats that were used for 10 years each.
