I have a heat pump and gas furnace the thermostat is supposed to decide heating source based on indoor/outdoor temps and heat drop in the house. It never seems to switch to gas without my input.

I have to admit this is the first time I’ve purchased a thermostat. We purchased our first house and replaced the whole AC system. I can’t believe technology and how far it has come. I love that I can change the temperature of my house by going to my app. It’s easy to use and serves as a night light down my hallway. I have no complaints and I have had no problems with it!!!
