Can’t tell if it’s working or not. Takes a long time to connect regardless of how close I am. Screen set up is poor can’t get to the info I want quickly.

I purchased the Wi-Fi Thermostat to get on Alliant Energy's Smart Hours and Honeywell does not work with Alliant Energy. I wasted my money, old Thermostat was just as good.

Excellent versatility and function where you don’t see it: a dream for HVAC professionals and complex system control.
The end user interface feels 20 years out of date, not offering color touchscreen, etc. While Residio makes an up-to-date touchscreen unit, it lacks the behind the scenes flexibility my HVAC people needed.
Bottom line: unless you have complex control needs, get the modern model.

This thermostat is a joke. It constantly loses connection to the Internet. Our whole hope was to control the Internet remotely while on vacation, and then we endured the stress of it being off-line most of the time. Don’t buy this!
