I had to switch out my beloved ecobee for this thermostat when i was told that it wasn't compatible with my newly installed heatpump. This thermostat clicks very loudly when turning the equipment on or off. (It is right outside my bedroom) It is fairly easy to use, but it is quite a downgrade from the ecobee.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We had 3 old thermostats in our condo in the Caribbean that were not very accurate. Our new Honeywell T6 thermostats are not just accurate, but we can even monitor & configure them from New York. Now we always know the temperature in each room.

Comes on and off at random times. Schedule it set correctly the. At 2am it turns itsef in and heats up to 68 degrees when it should stay at 63 until 4am.

Hi, it sounds like you have the Adaptive recovery feature enabled, this starts your schedule early, you can disable this from the app by first selecting the thermostat, tap on the settings gear in the top right corner and, toggle off the adaptive recovery feature. Once complete the unit will follow any schedule in place. -Joey
