Thermostat is full of glitches. After first moving in to my new place I tried setting it up. It would run continuously for hours without stopping. To this day it still does not follow the schedule properly, running at times it is not supposed to. I also cannot connect it to HomeKit, even though it is touted as a device that can be used in HomeKit. Looking for a replacement thermostat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like the thermostat except it doesn’t have an auto selection to switch between heat and cool which is a real problem for us as we can be gone for long periods of time and I don’t want to have to go in every day to check temperature and switch it from heat to cool or vice versa.

Hi, thanks for reaching out, the T6 pro model does have the auto changeover feature and can be enabled by performing the following. -Joey 1. Tap the screen so Menu shows at the bottom of the screen. 2. Press and hold the Menu button until Device Setup appears, and press Select. 3. Use the arrow button to go to function 300 at the top of the screen and press Edit. 4. Use the arrow buttons to set the Auto-Changeover feature to On or Off. 5. Tap Done to save.
