The device and app are working well. My main gripe is that you have to control most settings from the app on a mobile device. Scheduling and other functions are not accessible from the thermostat at all. This is an easy fix and unsatisfactory that it is the case.

The thermostat seems fine. Display screen easy to see. The Residio app however is lacking in various aspects including display of date and time, updates…it doesn’t refresh or update in a timely manner.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This thermostat was installed by the builder and I was pleasantly surprised it is WiFi enabled as this is a vacation home and I like being able to set a schedule, put it on vacation mode and check on the status of the heat in the home, especially in the winter. The app is easy to learn and use. Overall a great product.
