Unable to connect to it on 2 occasions in the month that I have had it installed. Resideo blames the router in my house yet I have another thermostat from a different vendor that was still online and accessable at the same time

I had no idea when I bought it that it won’t switch from heat to cold on an automatic basis. In Texas, this is a must. I do like the fact it has a black background. But I don’t want optics. I want automation in the thermostat.

Hi, this model does have the auto changeover feature, you can enable this by performing the following.
1. Press and hold the "Menu" button until "Device Setup" appears, and press "Select."
2. Use the arrow button to go to function 300 at the top of the screen and press "Edit."
3. Use the arrow buttons to set the Auto-Changeover feature to "On" or "Off."
4. Press "Done" to save.

I had to buy one to replace one that is two years old in a brand new home. Not very happy about it. I would never recommend it. Something this expensive should last more than two years.

Easy to set up and connect to your phone. The app has great management capabilities from setting temp, schedules, etc. to be pretty comparable with Next. My only complaint is it does lose connectivity often to the point of having to unpair from my phone and reconnect. I've done this once already and have to do it again with only having these for less than 6 months.

We had a Honeywell Wi-Fi Thermostat in the past and it could only regulate the furnace/AC. The interface was simple and very user friendly. The new one will do much more, but we only want to control our HVAC system. The interface makes you do a few steps to control basic functions. I have Google nest products and don't want to change systems.
